Helping Hands is dedicated to providing excellent Home Health Care for you and your loved ones!

Pros of Home Health Care:

  • Care is delivered directly to the patient’s residence (either at home or in a facility).
  • Medical Services are provided by skilled professionals.
  • Home Health Care staff follow the physician–prescribed plan of care.
  • Patients regain independence and become self-sufficient at home.
  • Many healthcare treatments that were once offered only in a hospital, a doctor’s office, or a nursing facility can now be done at home, where you are most comfortable.

Cons of Home Health Care:

  • May not be appropriate for patients who require 24-hour monitoring.

The Helping Hands Hospice Team is here for our Patients and their Families.

Our Hospice Team lives and works in this community and we are honored to serve our neighbors. Helping Hands Hospice has an extensive team of expert staff members and services that we are able to provide. 

These include:

  • Hospice Medical Director who works closely with your family physician or specialist to manage your care while receiving our Hospice Services
  • Skilled Hospice Nursing Team to include Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants
  • Medical Social Worker
  • Certified Wound Specialist
  • Spiritual Care or Hospice Chaplain Support
  • Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists
  • Music Therapist
  • Specially Trained Team of Hospice Volunteers
  • Bereavement Counselor

Hospice Care can provide a wide range of services depending on your symptoms and end-of-life care wishes. These services include, but are not limited to relief of symptoms and pain, therapy services, help with advance care planning, emotional and spiritual support for the patient and their family members, and much more.
