Testimonials

"My sister in law's health declined suddenly with the development of end of life symptoms that were causing her extreme discomfort. She begged not to go to the nursing home. It was decided to pursue comfort care instead of curative measures. I made a phone call to Helping Hands Hospice, and a very kind, calm nurse took our information. Within the next few hours, nurses arrived at my sister in law's, provided an assessment, called the medical director for orders, and within a few hours, my sister in law was comfortable. Without the support of the many wonderful, caring nurses, nurses aide, social worker, spiritual counselors, I know my sister in law and our family would not have been able to experience her dying in peace at her home.  It is very evident by the care my family received from the staff of Helping Hands Hospice, the local owners and staff really do care about our community. My family and I cannot express enough thanks to the Helping Hands Hospice staff."

- Linda

"I can NOT say enough about the care givers at Helping Hands. They helped us transition my father from home health care to hospice with no interruption of services. They were caring and compassionate not only to my father but to the rest of the family as well. They made my dad comfortable until the very end. Even after he passed they still checked on my family and I which meant so much. They helped us get through a heartbreaking situation. We simply can not thank you all enough."

- Ms. Kayce

"I didn’t know what to do about my health issues. I found that this team was just who I was looking for. They are friendly, professional, and they really care."

"My wife Helen was diagnosed with a terminal mycotic aneurysm on 12/28/2024. I contacted Helping Hands on 12/30/24 and brought her home to spend her last days on 12/30/24. Helping Hands was there for Helen and my family on day one. Anything she needed to make her last days comfortable was immediately available. They were there with Helen, my family and I until she passed away on Valentine's Day 2025. They provided exceptional care in a very difficult time in our life's. Tara, Stephanie, Susan, and Chaplain Janet provided excellent care to Helen and our family during Helen's final days. God bless everyone involved in my loving wife's care in an extremely difficult time in our life's. If you find yourself or a family member in such a difficult situation as my family did, do not hesitate to contact Helping Hands Hospice. They are definitely a 'Helping Hand.'"
